Chief Economist at Aditya Birla , Ajit Ranade , said that. “The bandh affects the poor people who depend on daily wages. On a macro impact, if there is a total bandh the one day loss would be about Rs. 20000 crores if everything is closed for a day.Meanwhile disturbance is reported from every corner of the country."Police personnel have detained many trouble making sources, but the damage is almost done.
Around 700 bus services in various districts of Andhra Pradesh were disturbed and rescheduled.Almost all the private flights in West Bengal is cancelled and is scheduled to fly after 6.00pm.Maximum Flights were cancelled in Mumbai as well.Around 100 Buses were stoned and destroyed in Mumbai.Many flights, trains and vehicles have stopped and cancelled in more than 10 states of India. To ensure Bandh is a big success almost 10 express and mail trains has been blocked.Office attendances were thin, and the maximum offices remained closed.Investments were at minimum because of the bandh.
