Bihar Elections: Sting operation against JD(U) minister and 3 RJD leaders gives ammunition to BJP, PM attacks Nitish Kumar
Bihar's Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar has taken resignation of his minister for Registration, Excise and Prohibition and Urban Development, Awadhesh Kumar Kushwaha to after a sting operation video surfaced in which Kushwaha could be seen accepting a bribe of Rs 4 lakh.

The video which went viral on Sunday gave ammunition to PM Narendra Modi to attack on the ruling party. In an election rally in Jehanabad today PM Modi took a jibe at JD(U) asking people to take note of what the minister was caught doing amid 113 birth anniversary celebration of veteran socialist leader, Jayaprakash Narayan.

The minister in question, Kushwaha, was seen taking favours from a Mumbai-based company on the pretext of benefiting it after his government's return post elections. Kushwaha was JD(U)'s candidate from Pipra constituency. But after this expose the party has withdrawn his candidature and decided to field a fresh candidate.

Former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi lashed out at the Nitish Kumar's government and tweeted:

With this there's no discontinuation of controversies amid ongoing Bihar Polls. Earlier it was a beef statement from the RJD chief, Lalu Yadav that created controversy.

This sting operation against the JD(U) minister is not the only problem to be handled by the Nitish Kumar. In another sting video that surfaced, three RJD members, Mundrika Singh Yadav, (who is RJD candidate from Jehanabad), Subedar Das (RJD candidate from Makhdumpur Assembly constituency) and Nitesh (brother and personal assistant of Krishna Nandan Verma, an RJD candidate from Ghosi) were allegedly seen accepting bribes.

Sushil Kumar Modi asked CM Nitish Kumar to take action against the three RJD members also.
