Bin Laden's son believed to be dead in US attack
A media report said that Saad bin Laden, Al Qaeda chief Osama Bin Laden's third eldest son is believed to have died, when a US Predator Drone fired missiles on his hideout. US agencies were sure that they had hit Saad and he was dead
IN WHAT could be termed as a major success for the US forces involved in action against the Taliban in Afghanistan and Pakistan, it is being speculated that one of Osama Bin Laden's son was killed in missile strike early this year.

A media report said that Saad Bin Laden, Al Qaeda chief's third eldest son is believed to have died, when a US Predator Drone fired missiles on his hideout. US officials said that Saad bin Laaden was not a key player in the terror group and was not targetted individually.

Intelligence sources said that it was not 100 per cent accurate to predict that Laden's son had been killed in the attack as there was no DNA test to confirm the incident. But sources said that US agencies were pretty sure that they had hit Saad and were very sure that he was dead.

They, however, were not sure whether Bin Laaden was also present or near to his son Saad's location, when the missile attack was launched by US drones.
