BJP said that it has entered into strategic tie-ups with regional parties in the North East. The party said it will support NPF candidate in Nagaland as both these parties have announced pre-poll alliance and are partners in DAN government.
THE CENTRAL Election Committee of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), on Monday (March 23), finalised the names of party candidates for the states of Kerala, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and Orissa. A meeting held under the chairmanship of president Rajnath Singh and in the presence of prime ministerial candidate, LK Advani finalised the list of candidates.
BJP also said that it has entered into strategic tie-ups with regional parties in the North East and such will support their candidates. The party said it will support Nagaland People Front (NPF) candidate in Nagaland as both these parties have announced pre-poll alliance and are partners in Democratic Alliance of Nagaland (DAN) government.
