BJP councillors to meet Municipal Commissioner of Gurgaon to discuss delay in the execution of various projects
In a meeting of BJP's municipal councilors on Tuesday in Gurgaon's Lakshman Vihar, the party expressed concern over delays in public welfare related work. Issues related to political activities have also been discussed in the meeting.
The meeting was chaired by the councilor and BJP leader Mangat Ram Bagri and Gurgaon MP Rao Inderjit Singh who have recently joined BJP. Earlier he was with the Congress. Bagri said that after Singh joined the BJP, many of his supporting councilors from the Congress too have joined the BJP.

Bagri also said that there are one or two councilors who are playing double politics and hidden games. Although they are saying that they are with Singh but still some of them are holding Congress's hands.

"Politicians like these are betraying the party, and this will not be tolerated in the party. Those councilors should come out with the truth and have to prove that they are with the BJP," said Bagri in statement.

He said that along with Rao Inderjit Singh, a good faith rally will be organised to support the PM candidature of Narendra Modi.

Bagri who is councillor from Gurgaon's ward no. 10 said that there are few projects whose estimate have already been finalized a year ago but still no work has been done till now.

"Tenders of some of the projects have also been passed, but still the work has been delayed. Most of the projects have crossed their deadline with little progress. Because of the irresponsible behaviour of the Municipal Corporation, the people have been deprived from the basic necessities and problems have been mounting," added Bagri.

He informed that taking into account various irregularities, a delegation of BJP councillors will soon meet the Municipal Commissioner of Gurgaon to put pressure on him to complete all the projects in time.
