BJP expels Jaswant Singh for his views in book
Jaswant Singh once known as BJP's Hanuman has been expelled from the party. India's partition could be the reason but every human being is bound to have views on the areas of his or her interests and there was nothing wrong with Jaswant's.

EVERY HUMAN being is bound to have views for the areas of his or her interests and there was nothing wrong with Jaswant Singh also having views on the area of his interest – India’s partition. Being a politician he must possess a clear understanding of the politics hovering around India’s partition and his own views thereof. The only thing he forgot to understand is that he should have kept mum if his analysis did not have takers in the society he lives in.

I or, for the matter, anyone else can’t change his views at this stage of his life but I will certainly regret that a person with such views was a cabinet minister of our country at some point of time. I can’t figure out how a gentleman with such drastic beliefs rose in stature, that too in a party which has unflinching allegiance to the RSS. His colleagues should have been aware of his love for Kaid-e-Azam of Pakistan, unless he found this love overnight.

Things seem to be going badly wrong for the Bhartiya Janta Party. Not so long ago it was that party's stalwart nationalist, LK Advani, who all of a sudden found an ideal secularist in Jinnah and now it is Jaswant Singh, who not only found everything right with Jinnah but even found that the tragedy of partition was a result of Nehru and Patel’s demonising endeavors. Advaniji, due to his stature, was able to withstand the hiccups, but poor Jaswant was not so lucky and his heroics had ultimately brought an abrupt and humiliating end to his hitherto successful political journey.

Anyway all is not lost for this gentleman. His book is bound to sell crores of copies. Of course in Pakistan. At least they have got one Indian who supports their line of thinking. Now that he is free from his political duties he must utilise his spare time and try publicising his book in Pakistan. It would be a real delight for people across the border to know that an ex-cabinet minister of India finds Gandhi and Patel responsible for partition.

The heading i submitted in original article has been changed by the merinews editorial team. I wish to imply that Jaswant's views are is no way acceptable and he must try his luck in PAkistan's politics since only takers of Jinnah are alive in Pakistan. Certainly not in India.
