BJP does not rule out defamation suit against Kejriwal for openly calling its leaders corrupt
Arvind Kejriwal has come out with a list of corrupt political leaders in the country. Yes, you heard it right- a list which tells the names of corrupt politicians. The list has political leaders from the ruling Congress, main opposition party BJP, other major parties like SP, BSP, DMK, NCP.

Addressing Aam Aadmi Party workers after party's national executive meeting Kejriwal named biggies like Rahul Gandhi, Nitin Gadhkari, Mayawati, Mulayam Singh Yadav, Sushil Kumar Shinde, P. Chidambaram, Sharad Pawar as corrupts in the Indian Political system which needs to be cleaned. He appealed his party workers to defeat these leaders and treat the national election as a "revolution" to cleanse the Parliament.

The other names which Kejriwal has included in his list of corrupts include Salman Khurshid, Kapil Sibal, Kamal Nath, BS Yeddyurappa, Anant Kumar, Anurag Thakur, Sharad Pawar, Farooq Abdullah and Jagan Mohan Reddy, Praful Patel etc. As Kejriwal was announcing the names his party members were shouting in the approval.

Meanwhile according to various media reports ex-President of BJP Nitin Gadhkari has warned that if with in three days Kejriwal doesn't tender apology then he would file a defamation suit. BJP's spokesperson Meenakshi Lekhi has also not ruled out the possibility of filing defamation suit against Arvind Kejriwal.

She said, “The party will discuss on this (filing defamation suit against Kejriwal). These people (AAP leaders) himself are corrupt. Their own MLA's like Shazia Ilmi are involved in the corruption. Sitting on a dharna illegally is also a form of corruption. Before election they had said that they have full evidence against the corrupt politicians and now they are asking BJP to provide the proof.”

When Samajwadi Party was asked about Kejriwal's list of corrupts featuring the name of Mulayam Singh Yadav, the party's General Secretary Rajesh Dixit said, “All they are trying to do is straying people's mind. Their truth will soon come out in front of the people. Almost half of Kejriwal's MLAs are indulged in corruption. We don't give attention to such kind of incidents and people.”

Kejriwal also targeted Rahul Gandhi and Narendra Modi while saying, “People like Narendra Modi and Rahul Gandhi, who have spent Rs 500 crore to build their brands, will take that money back from us only. How can they deliver good governance?”

He further added that this list has just few names and there are many other politicians out there whose name were not in the list. He also asked the public to prepare the list of corrupt politicians and submit it to him.
