BJP regime might not bring big changes in real estate market: Property dealers in Gurgaon
There has hardly been any increase or decrease in the prices of property in Gurgaon for the last two years. With Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) coming to power in the recently held Assembly elections in Haryana, all property dealers hope that there might be reform in the market. However, they also feel that the prices of land in Gurgaon could never go up in the regime of BJP. Better infrastructure and metro connectivity may raise prices of property later.

Binder Rana, Ganesh Properties said, ''The condition of property market is still unchanged as it was two years ago. As far as BJP coming to power is concerned, there will be no impact on the market in terms of increasing prices of property. In the regime of BJP, the market has always been low. It is working well for the country but not for property business.''

Krishan Kumar, Pooja Associates, when questioned said, ''At present, business is completely disrupted. Price rise is the main reason behind the people who showed disinterest in property buying for a long time. It has been expensive in the past. If the new government holds rising inflation and develops metro connectivity in Old Gurgaon then people may show their interest in buying property.''

Vaibhav Srivastav, National Realtors of Sector 22 market said, ''Market has been intact for the last two years. Property in Gurgaon saw no boom in the market. If newly elected BJP led government promote industry and better infrastructure then chances of property market backing on the track may increase. But it will take at least six months to do so. However, there is no possibility of rising prices in term of BJP government."

India might be rejoicing the Modi wave, but real estate markets are yet to see good times.
