BJP started its election campaign in Arunachal Pradesh with the launch of its manifesto in a rally in Nahrlagun, the business capital of the state. Sushil Modi, who released the manifesto said, India should take steps against Chinese aggression.
THE BHARATIYA Janata Party (BJP) has started its poll campaign in Arunachal Pradesh on Saturday, September 19, for the upcoming state assembly elections. Sushil Modi, a senior BJP leader and the Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, released the manifesto of the party for the elections in Itanagar.
At the party's inaugural rally, Modi said, “China has entered Indian territory 76 times within the last three months in 2009. Its high time, that India should handle the situation diplomatically”BJP held the public rally in Nahrlagun, the business capital of the state, with the people wearing the replica of their logo and handing out posters. The party leadership stated that one of its main agendas for the state was that they would pressure the Centre to firm diplomatic steps and control the alleged Chinese aggression.
