BJP senior leader Advani plans for Rath Yatra
LK Advani, the BJP senior leader and party prime ministerial candidate in the recent election has planned to conduct a Ratha Yatra and declared that the yatra will be commenced in September and its main aim is to motivate the party cadre.
THE BHARATIYA Janata Party (BJP) senior leader and party prime ministerial candidate in the recent election LK Advani, plans to conduct a Rath Yatra. 81 years old Advani said that the yatra will be commenced in September and its main aim is to motivate the party cadre as they are in suppressed due to the defeat in the recent elections.
Though the BJP leaders and cadre had more expectations from the recent election yet they couldn’t succeed to reach their goal. So, the leader planned to unify the party workers all over India and wanted to motivate them to retain their confidence. The party will hold a brain storming meetings from August 21, for three days to discuss the future plans and to identify the draw backs of the party. After this meetings, Advani will travel all over India in the name of Rath Yatra.

Advani became popular with his Ratha Yatras. With this tours only he could bring the party into power. He hold his first yatra in 1990, from Somnath to Ayodhya. Later, he travelled in 1993, again with the name of Janadesh Yatra. This gave the party a good result and because of this yatra only BJP could come into power in 1996. And in 2006, he conducted Bharat Suraksha Yatra, but he couldn’t capture the power in recent elections.
