The most surprising factor is that in the booklet, the states run by BJP – Chhatisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Punjab, are shown with the photographs of chief ministers along with the achievements of the states. In this category, at page No.20, in the achievements of Gujarat, in the article of 14 lines, the photograph of Narendera Modi is in black and white.
However, the last inner page of the booklet, having the photographs of 6 BJP leaders including Modi. But in the achievements of BJP ruled states, there is no mention of Narendera Modi.
The booklet is without any print line starting with a message of Rajnath Singh, National President, BJP. On contacting Kamal Sharma, BJP President, to know about the missing of the name of Narendera Modi on the front page of the booklet, he informed that no doubt, he was a candidate for PM at that time but it is a common sense…his name was declared later on and the booklet has been printed well before the announcement of the name of Narendera Modi as candidate for the post of PM.
However, in future, he will definitely be figuring in all the communications.
However, certain persons take it as an after-thought. Whether it is intentionally or inadvertently, it could be known only to its printers. But appearing of photograph of L K Advani shows that some fissure is seen within the party over the nomination of Modi as candidate for the post of PM.
