BlackBerry users expressed their disappointment over the outage of services. BlackBerry users in Europe, Africa, Middle East, and India are facing glitches in BlackBerry services such as the popular BlackBerry Messenger.
PEOPLE FROM most part of the world are facing e-mail, internet browsing and messaging glitches in the BlackBerry services. The problem began on Monday and affected BlackBerry users in Europe, Africa and the Middle East and spread to India, Brazil, Chile and Argentina by Tuesday. In the US and Canada, there were no such problems reported. Last month, in Canada and Latin America, the BlackBerry Messenger services went down for several hours.

Earlier, the BlackBerry maker Research-In-Motion said it had fixed the problem, but hours later it acknowledged that the disruptions were continuing, although the Canada-based smartphone makers has not said when the problem will be fixed. The company said in a statement that the issues experienced by its customers by a core switch failure within RIM's infrastructure. Company also said that they are working to restore normal service as quickly as possible and they apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.
Research-In-Motion has more than 70 million subscribers worldwide, and it hosts a number of network operating centers, including one at its headquarters in Waterloo, Ontario, and another in southern England. BlackBerry Messenger is popular among BlackBerry users because it avoids instant messaging charges from carriers. In recent time, the BlackBerry maker has faced big competition in the smartphone segments from rivals like Apple and other smartphone makers.
