Bollywood actresses jumping into prostitution due to demonetization, reveals agent
While the after shocks of demonetization announced by the Modi government on November 8 are still being felt across the country, stories have been emerging almost on a daily basis on how demonetization is effecting individuals from various walks of life.

It has been revealed that one industry that has been hit the hardest due to demonetization is Bollywood. In a startling revelation, agent Mangesh Bhise, a resident of Andheri, Mumbai, has disclosed that foreign base actresses working in Bollywood have been making absurd offers to their landlords asking them to sleep with them instead of asking for rent.

These female actresses mostly work as background dancers on TV shows, Bollywood movies and live events. The basic problem is that most of them are not from India so don't have bank accounts. They mostly used to accept payments from agents through cash, but the cash crunch induced by demonetization has left these female actresses in dire straits, plunging them into flesh trade.

These are desperate times for these Bollywood actresses of foreign origin who risk losing a roof over their heads if they don't sleep with their landlords. These actresses mostly hail from Russia, Uzbekistan, Philippines and Korea and have come on a tourist visa. They stay in clusters in rented apartments in posh areas of Mumbai. They work in Bollywood for a few months and then fly back home.

But unfortunately now, even flying back home is no longer an option for them in this cash starved country. They don't have any new currency to buy air tickets. Since they are unable to pay rent, they are constantly hounded by their landlords. Even their agents who are reeling under a severe cash crunch express their inability to help bail them out of this situation.

One such girl who hails from Uzbekistan revealed to Mangesh that middle men demanded a huge cut for converting her old currency into new. Ultimately, she only managed to get 30 per cent of her old money in the form of new currency. She was moved to tears and wanted to go back home. In sheer desperation she even tried approaching the cops for help but no one came forward.

According to Mangesh, in the past one month he has received at least 12 calls from girls offering themselves for prostitution. Some girls from Philippines have even made money by having sex with complete strangers.
