Sridevi, in a film promotion event said: “It is a great honour. Getting such words from a legend like him (Amitabh) it truly builds up on my confidence. Even looking at the people's reaction really it feels great.” As we all know and remember Big B and Sridevi shared the silver screen in movies such as Khuda Gawah, Aakhri Raasta and Inquilaab. While Big B continued to work, Sridevi took a hiatus from films in the 90's.
Sharing about her comeback experience, Sridevi found a huge difference in the way films are made these days. She said, “It's a different experience altogether. Earlier it used to be just few magazines and that's it but this is quite scary. But I am getting used to it and have started enjoying it.” She also said that she is happy to see that audience is ready to see bold subjects being taken up and even the filmmakers are ready to take such kind of subjects and make films on them.
From Mr. India to Sadma, Sridevi has worked with many directors in her hey days, including legendary Yash Chopra, Satish Kaushik, Raj Kanwar and Mukul S Nanda. This is however, the first time that the actress has worked with a female director and is extremely happy about it. Watching an interview we could almost feel the air of camaraderie and comfort level between the two women.
