Bollywood jodis fans want to watch

Most of the time Bollywood gets too predictable with usual story lines, scripts which are clones of each other and jodis that are a hit among the audiences. What filmmakers fail to understand is that audience loves to be surprised with new scripts, different treatment and completely out of the box jodis.

IMAGINE WHAT a fun film we would have if Tuntun and Kishore Kumar were to be paired together in a comedy! Even Rohit Shetty's film would appear lackluster in front of it. Let us fathom some of the yet to be paired jodis of Bollywood.

The female Khan of Bollywood and the Badshah of Bollywood would make a power couple. Although some said that Vidya Balan would completely eclipse SRK, others believe it is not possible. While others proclaimed that the film would look like an aunty and uncle were playing the part of the protagonists, I feel that it would be a mixture of charisma and excellent acting put together. With a sensitive love story or a family drama, we can have the likes of an Arth or Masoom.

A demand for Sonakshi Sinha and Sunny Deol was strong when I raised this question at my workplace. It was a unanimous opinion that they would look fabulous together given their physical strengths. The fact that Sonakshi dances like Govinda and Sunny Deol cannot dance will also balance them and it would be lovely to see them in an out and out masala film. Sonakshi for once can quit her village belle look and be projected as the girl next door.

While Parineeti Chopra is just two-films-old, yet she has a number of fans. We would love to see her paired opposite Imran Khan. Nephew of Aamir Khan finds it difficult to emote and Parineeti is full of jovial positive energy. It would be fun if the filmmakers ask them to ape each other on screen, i.e., Parineeti to be sober, reserved and Imran Khan to be the jovial kind!

Anushka Sharma is in news due to her choice of films and she has proved herself more than once. With Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola, hopefully, she will do it again. Anyhow, it would be great if we see her outside her comfort zone of Yash banner and be paired with Arjun Kapoor. We have seen Kapoor play the bad boy image but his suave, stylish side is yet to come out. Both of them paired together in an urban crime thriller would just hit the spot.

While these pairs are just figments of our imagination, it would be a surprise if they come to pass. We can just hope for better jodis and good films for the future.
