USAIN BOLT, Jamaican sprinter who holds the world record for 100 and 200m, showed his class in the 200m dash in Diamond league at Oslo, where he was the first to cross the finishing line in 19.86 seconds. Jaysuma Saidy Ndure from Norway was placed second with a timing of 20.43 seconds, and he fell behind Bolt right from the initial stages of the race.

Bolt had been facing an Achilles problem, so he missed some races last season. The last 200m race he participated in was at Shanghai in 2010. His performance in Oslo showed no signs of his previous injury. Even the wet conditions at Oslo did not slow the Jamaican. He said "I was never out of business; I think business was just slow,” as reported by guardian.co.uk.

Bolt won the 200m dash with the fastest timing of the year, with 19.86 seconds. Some critics were of the view that Bolt has gone past his best, but he has silenced his critics with a convincing victory in the Diamond league.

With the London Olympics coming up next year, he seems to be on the right track and fully fit to take the world by storm. There are other serious contenders like Tyson Gay, who has had good run during the season, who might spoil his party in the Olympics next year. Bolt seems to be ready for the challenge.

Bolt is someone who reserves his best for big occasions, as he had showcased the world in 2008 Beijing Olympics where he created world records in both the 100m and 200m dash. The world awaits his run at the London 2012 Olympics.
