Book review: Flares of Love by Arti Rai and Shekhar Tiwari – a poetic flair in abundance
Flares of Love, a debut poetic volume by Arti Rai and co-authored by Shekhar Tiwari, is a wonderful collection of poems. For Arti Rai, a teacher in English, it is not unnatural that she might have read Burns and Marvell, but in emulating them she excels.

That is the most important point about all her poems. Arti Rai has a flair of expression with great command over poetic diction and language. She has to her credit an award for "six words story" organized by Rajnigandha at Jaipur Literature Festival-2016.

"A moment in love
With you
A century
Without you
The Doomsday."

These few lines which poet Arti Rai wrote on a social media site made me amazed by her poetic funda. Every moment she is a poet and every day she composes her rhyme and the outcome is wonderful like her recently published book, Flares of Love.

With the beautiful poetic intonation of the poetry of Robert Burns on the one hand and on the other, the witty tone of Andrew Marvell of British literature, these two poets who have co-authored the book Flares of Love, has made a miraculous contribution to the love poetry of English poetry in India. Arti Rai is a poet with modern outlook and her poems reflect the nuances of love romance and passions for nature She always keeps in mind the focus on human relationship.

In spite of her romantic views, she is capable of giving realistic contours to her poetic vision. In a word, her poems are the whispers of her passionate soul sometimes a monologue with herself. She composes the verses so boldly that amaze the readers. The poems in this debut poetic volume are sagas of amorous passions eternised in the beautiful language carved on the colourful canvas of ever youthful vibrancy. They are exotic expressions and touch the inner chord of any sensitive mind. The beautiful bardess feels more comfortable in poeticising love emotions.

The brevity of expression is her creative uniqueness and even in six words poem she is one of the best poets in English poetic literature.

Many of her poems have been published in The Times of India, Jaipur edition. She has also written for a number of national and international anthologies including "Feeling with You" . She has also co-chaired an international literary seminar on the subject "The Evolving Genre of Poetry" at Nagpur 2014. Her anthology of poems"Flares Of Love" is available on Amazon which was out this year in the month of August-2917. She likes penning down thoughts about life and different shades of it. Writing has been her hobby since she was a school girl. She enjoys the company of her pen.

While teaching in the class, she is a poet hunter...she tries to search and encourage student poets . Cyberwit has done a wonderful job. Their publication is wonderful for good printing and cover page design. The marketing of Cyberwit book through and in their own sites is commendable. It is hoped that the recently published book will reach the readers soon. It is a good poetic gift for the readers who love to read love poetry.
