Book review: "Me and Ma...Celebrating Zindagi"
At a time when most of the celebrities beyond their age and era are diving to pen down there incomplete and half-hearted autobiography, a Bollywood actress remembered her mother in a literary way.

It can be also said that, Divya Dutta emotionally extended her stay with her mother Nalini Dutta through her writings. After reading the book very sincerely, I am now sure that she never ever thought that if her book will be declared as a bestseller or not.

Dr. Nalini Dutta grown her baby as a good human being. The book is nothing but an utterly touchy emotional account of a doctor mother and her actor daughter. Hence in a very casual and free-flowing language, Divya took her weeping heart out and unintentionally she made the reader cry with her. In this very point the book succeeded.

It's a must read for everyone who are going to keep their mother at old-age home or are in a confusing state that what their mother have done for them. People who talk about celebrities staying separately from their parents should also go through "Me and Ma...Celebrating Zindagi" to know the other side of the coin too.

Shabana Azmi, who supposed to be a neighbour to them started writing foreword with "They were inseparable; I could never imagine Divya without her". And Divya's weeping heart said that, "My mother, my soul mate". And it can't be truer.

The book has been published by Penguin India and is a must-read.
