Harayana's Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda did not miss the chance to play his favourite sport with his favourite sportsperson. He challenged the six-time grand slam winner Boris Becker who is on a personal visit in India. Both had a tough game and appreciated each other's game in the end.
Hooda, who likes tennis very much, appreciated the champion and showed his happiness after playing with him. "I told Boris that I was telling my wife that Becker will eat me unbaked," said Hooda after the match and was quite obvious with the results as per NDTV's reports.
The 65-year-old CM spent 2 hours against the German player on the court which made champion stunned. He also expressed his appreciation for the good whether of India. "When I left Germany there was snowing there but here the whether is very good and am looking forward for a good tour in India," said Boris talking to reporters.
He also said that Hooda is a fit personality because he often plays the game and thus he enjoyed playing with him. Hooda said that he met the champion 2 years back in Wimbledon
. "When I met him two years back in Wimbledon I had a passion to play with him and by chance he came here and when we requested him for a match he humbly accepted our request. It was my pleasure to play with him," said Hooda.
This might be called as a benefit of being a Chief Minister of a state who got a chance to share a lawn and play with him even if he was defeated.
