Both are found guilty: But Jaya is Goddess and Sasikala a Devil
Jaya, the number one accused person (A1-who dragged the case for two decades - 1996 to 2017 – allegedly with an active support from the judicial system and earned a dubious title Vaida - Tharif - Rani) is condemned for corruption by the SC yesterday. But, she continues to be a Goddess and the co-accused (A2, Sasikala) a Devil.

Accused number one (A1) along with the co-accused (A2 to A4) were convicted for corruption and sentenced to four years imprisonment on Sep 27, 2014 by the trial court judge John Michael Cunha. All the four were sent to Bangalore jail.

Under the leadership of OPS, the entire TN cabinet, MLAs, MPs and some bureaucrats too started shedding unstoppable crocodile tears. There was virtually no administration when A1 was in detention. Choicest abuses were showered on the trial judge even by persons holding public offices.

There was undeclared mourning, bizarre theatrics and what not during Jaya's detention. Religion and government were made a single entity to pray for Jaya's release. All the convicted were bailed out under strict caveats on Oct 17, 2014. Jaya was called People's Chief Minister by O. Panneerselvam, his cabinet ministers, MLAs etc during her detention and afterwards. Her portraits were not removed from the state government's offices during her detention and appeal.

The Karnataka High Court constituted a Special Bench of Justice C.R. Kumaraswamy to hear the appeals filed by Jayalalithaa and others. On Jan 01, 2015, hearing began on Jayalalithaa's appeal. Justice Kumaraswamy in a May 11, 2015 judgment - notorious for its elementary school grade arithmetic - acquitted Jaya and three others of all charges. Jaya could return as Chief Minister of TN.

The Karnataka government and DMK moved the apex court against the acquittal in June 2015. In the meanwhile, Jaya passed away on 6th Dec 2016. Supreme Court in its verdict on Feb 14, 2017 upheld the trial court verdict and declared all the four accused guilty. By virtue of her death, A1 escaped from going to jail.

The guys who were crying, fretting and fuming over the trial court verdict in Sep 2014 have welcomed with glee the apex court verdict, which upheld the very same judgment of the trial court. Number one accused is continued to be treated as a Goddess and the Number 2 accused is condemned as an embodiment of Evil.

For the kind attention of OPS bandwagon: And when they continued asking him, Jesus said,''Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her."
