India must not face repeated insults and humiliation by Pakistan Foreign Minister, who neither has diplomatic skills nor sense to behave with guests. India should make it clear that it can participate in talks only if Qureshi is kept out of talks.
SINCE INDIA has faced unnecessary humiliation again and again at the hands of Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, it is time he is shown his right place. In the latest instance, the Pakistan foreign minister issued statements that were meant to insult Foreign Minister SM Krishna, who was on a visit to Pakistan.
It is time India should boycott Shah Mahmood Qureshi in any future talks. It is regrettable that USA has not directed Pakistan to change their Foreign Minister as he is prone to make such mistakes again and again. Although Qureshi toned down on his rhetoric by taking a U-turn on his earlier allegation of SM Krishna taking frequent telephonic directions from New Delhi during his stay and talks in Pakistan.Qureshi’s outburst on India's alleged role in Baluchistan after Sharm-el-Sheikh talks is also un-pardonable. Present style of talks with Pakistan is totally meaningless with no solution to Pakistan’s proven role in militant activities in India including specially for infamous 26/11 attack on Mumbai being in sight. Pakistan participates in talks half-heartedly only due to US pressure. India must not face repeated insults and humiliation by Pakistan Foreign Minister, who neither has the diplomatic skills nor sense to behave with guests. India should make it clear that it can participate in talks only if Shah Mahmood Qureshi does not participate in talks.
