BPO executive raped by boss

IN A shocking incident, a female executive of a leading BPO based in Gurgaon was raped on the night of Friday (August 7). The victim, a resident of Uttarakhand who is putting up in West Delhi said in her FIR that her team leader Prashant Rana on Friday night, offered her soft drink laced with some sedative. After that she didn’t remember where she was taken by her immediate boss but next morning she found her self at a out-of-the-way place and took an auto rickshaw back home and realised that she had been raped by her team leader Prashant Rana.

The West Delhi police relying on her statement had arrested the alleged rapist Prashant Rana and further investigations are still on.
According to the DCP of the Western Delhi Sharad Aggarwal, “The victim had joined the BPO only four months back and is residing in the Jwala Heri area of West Delhi. Her parents in Uttarakhand had been informed of the incident. The victim and her alleged rapist lives adjacent to each other and owing to this they are well acquainted and used to come in same cab.”
How long will women suffer exploitation?
