The actor has six children with partner Angelina Jolie. He said that acting is a young man's game and there were fewer interesting parts for older people even though everyone inevitably grows older. He added that he feels like he has had his time and that's leaving behind acting was quite freeing. After being involved for two decades with his acting career, Pitt feels that its about time he bid goodbye to the field. Pitt said, "Everywhere is interesting in its own way, each place has its own feel and something to offer: you pick up something, the kids are picking up something. They have this world view which we are very proud and happy that we are able to provide."

The family of Pitt is known to moves wherever he and Jolie happen to work and he said that this type of a lifestyle is very beneficial for the children.
