PHILADELPHIA EAGLES player Brain Westbrook has confirmed that he won’t be retiring in a radio interview. In 2009, Westbrook could only play eight games; since he sustained an ankle injury which kept him out of action for most of the games. He’s suffered two concussions too.
Westbrook is the all time leader in yards from scrimmage for the Philadelphia Eagles. After being released from the organization a few days ago, Westbrook expressed his desire to play for any NFL team. Hence, The Giants and the Cowboys would probably eye him at the moment.
Westbrook said in the radio interview “It’s hard for teams to keep veterans, especially aging veterans at a higher salary number, when they can get younger guys, especially when guys have battled injuries the way I have the last year and a half or so. I understand that. I completely do.”
Westbrook is considered as one of the greatest players to have played for Philadelphia Eagles.
