HUBER HEIGHTS, OH quarterback Braxton Miller, the top remaining uncommitted QB recruit in the 2011 class, announced today afternoon his intentions to join the 2011 class at The Ohio State University. Braxton Miller is the nation's top quarterback prospect, and had received scholarship offers from nearly 50 college programs, before narrowing his choices to Alabama, Florida, Notre Dame and Ohio State.
Miller is a 6'3", 200 pound quarterback whose speed, swagger, and dual-threat ability many have seen fit to compare to current Ohio State starting QB Terrelle Pryor. Miller has 2,628 yards passing and 938 yards rushing during his high school career. He has accounted for 50 touchdowns in three years as starter for the Warriors.
Miller, an Under Armour All-American, describes himself as a QB who is good at "reading coverage, passing and using my feet also. So hopefully all those combined can do some damage." On the eve of the press conference, Braxton Miller made a visible commitment to the OSU program by getting a large Block ‘O’ tattoo on his left shoulder.
