Breathe a plush lifestyle at the Country Club in Gurgaon's Palam Vihar
Clean wide roads, multi speciality hospitals, towering flyovers, and beautiful parks among others are always counted as the basic needs of citizens. However, country clubs have been added to the "must need" list in the last two decades as the modernization approached and the living standard of people elevated to new heights.

Keeping the above things in mind, the Ansal Group came up with a town/ country club in 1989 in Palam Vihar (the baby of Ansal Group) known as The Maple Town & Country Club.

What exactly does a County Club mean? A country or town club means recreating sports, entertainment and F&B facilities in a rural or semi- urban area in order to provide all the facilities to the residents of the locality at one place. Although, a country club can be located anywhere to allure clients to join the club as a member and avail all the luxurious facilities. One of the first country/ town clubs in Gurgaon, The Maple Town & Country Club in H-block of Palam Vihar has completed 23 years in the neighborhood irrespective of that the citizens are oblivious of the town club.

The swanky country and town club is quietly sandwiched between the Metro Hospital, a local market and the residential area and this may be the reason it is invisible to many. The Maple Club earlier known as the Chancellor Club of Palam Vihar has everything in the luxurious sector one can imagine.

Even though the lifestyle hub is closely located with Delhi and Indira Gandhi International Airport, it mostly caters to the residents of Palam Vihar. The posh club doesn't really have any competition in the vicinity and takes care of all the lifestyle facilities for the club members. (Mind it. The Maple Club is only meant for the members. No walk- ins are allowed).

"The posh club is home to the finest elite facilities like swimming, tennis, billiards, squash badminton, table tennis, card room and others. I would like to categorize Maple into three different sections- sports, F&B (Food and Beverages) and entertainment. Ozone- a spacious gym, two full fledged tennis courts, swimming pool which is the largest in Delhi/ NCR, squash and billiards among others are some of the facilities that comes under the umbrella of sports. We have one of the best recreational facilities in the Delhi/ NCR," said Amit Prabhakar, Manager of The Maple Town &Country Club.

He added, "If I talk about F&B, the club has its own multi cuisine restaurant known as 'Samara' that undoubtedly serves the delicious food in town. We also have a London inspired retro bar that takes care of one's drunkard soul and a cafe bakehouse that serves as a blessing for the people with a sweet tooth. The entertainment section includes a banquet hall, spa, and a kid zone."
The club has snubbed short membership periods like monthly or quarterly or yearly and has focused on longer period of memberships. If one wants to avail the swanky facilities, one has to opt for five years of membership which goes up to ten years or one can also get a lifetime membership in order to breathe a luxurious lifestyle at the club.

The country club at Palam Vihar observes more footfall on the weekends and welcomes everyone from corporate events, weddings, birthday parties or any musical events. Palam Vihar lacks facilities of hospitality and that's where The Maple Club tries to fit in the shoes and somehow succeeds because the residents of Palam Vihar always craved for a place that houses health, lifestyle and entertainment facilities under one umbrella.

“The concept of establishing a town club in the residential sector is very simple. No one wants to travel 10- 15kms after a hard day at work to rejuvenate themselves. Residents wants to breathe easy and that's where we step-in. One can simply walk down and avail the facilities after becoming a member, said Amit Prabhakar, Manager of The Maple Town &Country Club.
