BreatheEasy qualifies 'Standard of Air' by Indian Green Council set up under the auspices of CII
Delhi was rated to be the most polluted city in the world for ambient air pollution by World Health organizations in 2014. To tackle health problems associated with air pollution in Delhi, which affects some 46 million people in and around the country capital city, indoor plants could be one solution to reduce carbon dioxide level.

However, one air purifier can replace 100 of plants which are pertinent to save space in the residential and office complexes.  High levels of carbon dioxide inside homes, though not fatal, are a major cause for headaches and lethargy. With the Supreme Court restricting the use of firecrackers, some new age entrepreneurs have begun pioneering work to fix this gigantic problem.

BreathEasy, a startup founded by Barun Aggarwal is India's first indoor air quality total solution provider recently launched the world's most impressive air purification systems – IQAir, in India. The 100% Swiss made high-quality machines are capable of combating airborne germs, chemicals, smoke & even ultra-fine particles, down to 0.001 micrometers in diameter.

There has been an alarming rise in air pollution especially with the advent of Diwali in National Capital Region & Northern parts of the country which happens to be a major concern for the poor quality of air inside the home, offices and commercial complexes in the region.  Atmospheric poor air quality needs corrections since the common man in India seemed to be oblivious to this danger, caused by Carbon dioxide in the air.

Barun Aggarwal, CEO of BreathEasy company, is into research and has won a patent. He basically provides portable solutions, air purifiers for homes and cars, face masks, consumer-grade sensors and undertakes large projects for malls, hospitals, hotels, and offices.

Aggarwal emphasized that BreathEasy test the surroundings, understand the need of our customer and then provide healing properties of the best solution depending upon the supporting variables. We want our customers to experience the air quality of Davos in Delhi.  Partnering with IQAir of Switzerland is one of the most promising initiatives of BreatheEasy and we are very excited about bringing the world's best air purifiers to the Indian consumer

An Indian Green Council under the auspices of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has been set up for certification of the well-being standard of the air. The certification is given after examining, air quality, and water quality, nutrition standards in the canteen, lighting levels, sound, thermal comfort, fitness, and mind. Under the new certification done by Indian Green Council, only two buildings have qualified for it in the National capital – One in Nehru place and another in Noida. No buildings in Mumbai has so far qualified and for that matter in any other cities in India. Most of the top ten polluted cities in the world are in India.

There is a Harvard study available to indicate how important it is for well being of people to have improved air quality and low carbon dioxide level both inside and outside buildings. While the high level of carbon dioxide is a problem inside buildings and outside it is mostly suspended particles in the air, which damage the lungs and affect the well being of the people.

Air quality level, particularly in Delhi, is far beyond the normal level and lately the heavy atmosphere due to slow onset of winter, stubble burning, landfill fire at Bhalswa, vehicular pollution have added to the woes. The central pollution control board has recorded the overall air quality index (AQI) of Delhi at 339, which is much above the prescribed level of 150. The air quality in other cities may be slightly better, but nowhere near the prescribed norms.

BreatheEasy thinks out of the box in designing, building and executing large air quality projects. The organization is committed to designing a unique solution after understanding the needs and the building's requirements. With in-house expertise on infusing energy efficiency and clean air into buildings, its centralized projects solutions team provides full consultation to clients on green buildings and also takes on turnkey engineering projects guaranteeing perfect air quality.  BreatheEasy also offers various types of products including room Air purifiers, Car air purifiers, Masks, replacement filters, sensors, and plants.

"As a leading Swiss company in the field of indoor air filtration, IQAir recognized many years ago that the very serious air pollution in many parts of India requires the very best air cleaning solutions and the best local partner to bring these solutions to those who need them most. With our 55 years of experience in the manufacture of air purifiers for even the most polluted and critical indoor environments, we can confidently say that IQAir offers superior protection from even the most harmful air pollutants. We are very proud of our partnership with BreatheEasy as they share our passion for providing highly effective solutions that can truly make a difference in people's lives. We wish BreatheEasy much success in bringing "a piece of Switzerland" to the Indian sub-continent… clean and healthy air," said Jens Hammes, CEO of INCEN AG, IQAir's international marketing company.
