Britney would fight for full custody of children
Controversial pop singer, Britney spears, whose life is now back on track, wishes to do the same for her children, as she now fights for complete custody with visitation rights to her ex-husband, Kevin Federline.
POP SINGER Britney Spears is going to file for full custody of her children, starting this November. Her two sons, Sean Preston, seven and Jayden James, four are currently under the custody of her dancer ex-husband, Kevin Ferderline.
The 28 year old singer now believes that it is her husband, who is in dire need of help and would be a bad role model for her two sons and therefore, wishes to take over custody of her children. She is on a damage control mode ever since her downward spiral after the birth of her second child.
Trouble started brewing when Spears started being known in the media as the bad girl of show business, after she was caught in a series of embarrassing situations by the press. The final tipping point came when she shaved her head bald in February 2007. This led to her being sent to a rehabilitation centre.
By then, she had already separated from Federline, but her entry into rehab and the preceding events that led to a court decision, where the custody of the children was given to Kevin Federline with visiting rights given to Spears.
But now Britney, who is back in the business of music making and trying to revive her career, has decided to fight the custody battle all over again as she has reportedly realised that it is Kevin now who needs help. She wants the children out of his care and blames him for turning them into foul-mouthed and ill mannered children. She wishes to now be in control of their lives, not wanting them to think that the kind of lifestyle led by Federline is acceptable.
Even though, Spears is not pleased with the way Kevin Federline is raising the children, she is willing to give visiting rights to him. The dancer nowadays, owes around $100,000 in unpaid house rent and house damages.
