Simon was pronounced dead by the doctors after Murphy's mother, Sharon, raised an alarm in emergency at 9.40pm on Sunday. Monjack has had a history of cardiac problems.

BRITTANY MURPHY’s husband, Simon Monjack, was found dead in his Hollywood Hills home. He was 39 and died on Sunday night. It happened five months after Brittany Murphy’s death. The reason of death is said to be cardiac arrest.

Simon was pronounced dead by the doctors after Murphy’s mother, Sharon, raised an alarm in emergency at 9.40pm on Sunday. Monjack has had a history of cardiac problems. In December 2009, Brittany Murphy’s cause was death was also cardiac arrest brought on by pneumonia, anemia and prescription drugs.

Months after Murphy’s death, Monjack used to make frequent calls to the press and defended his character and speaking of his love for her. He also launched the Brittany Murphy Foundation and announced plans for a celebrity fundraiser, with ticket price of $ 1,000 per individual and corporation. But Monjack had to later call it off.

In last November, while returning from the Murphy’s film set in Puerto Rico, Simon collapsed on board flight and needed medical assistance. Later it was revealed that it was a heart attck.
