They lost the assembly elections poorly and this should be commended as a political party, which took risk on the corruption issue. Anyone interested can conduct a research, as to what would be the fate of Karnataka assembly elections result had KJP been there or BSY was with BJP?
However, in the mean time BSY was cleared by high court of Karnataka, which quashed the FIR by Lokayukta. Then why are questions being raised if he himself merged with BJP? Why BJP is not credited that it sacked BSY when Lokayukta indicted him knowing very well that it would be damaging party interests. This puts BJP in a better light as compared to AAP’s decision of not taking any action against Bharti despite the Indian media tearing him apart.
Modi is a smart guy understanding he alone would never deliver the required results. The booth management as well as bringing ignorant voters to booth is important in winning the elections, thus he understands public feeling and their compulsion, that’s why he is called a winner. He is not only strong in his speeches, but also strong in organizing and booth management.
Anyways, on what grounds do we complain about BSY? AAP is yet to decide on Bharti, Congress is yet to decide on Ashok Chavan, Sushil Shinde (Adarsh scam), and BSP and SP to check their chances and forget about others who can stand against this.
Thus, BSY is never a problem to BJP though Santosh Hegde’s decision helped Congress to rule Karnataka. In any case why does BJP alone have to explain on corruption issues and why Congress does not need not to explain its alliance with convicted politicians like Lalu Yadav?
Can anyone raise the question of BSY’s merger with BJP? If any party wanted to question it, let them first answer the questions asked in this article. If there shouldn’t be hypocrisy, there should be none in any party to practice it.
