Budget session of the Parliament starts: Ruckus leads to adjournment of Lok Sabha
The crucial month long Budget Session of the 16th Lok Sabha has begun today. As soon as the proceedings in Lok Sabha started, the opposition party members created ruckus in the Lok Sabha over spiralling prices of vegetables, fruits and other essential commodities. Later the Lok Sabha speaker adjourned the house till Tuesday.

It was expected that a heated debate will take place in the Parliament as the opposition parties are likely to take up the issues of price rise, fuel price and the revision of rail fares.

A clear picture of the strategy of the Narendra Modi-led government to check the economic downturn and to halt the inflation will come into public as the government will present its first Railways and general budget this week.

 in the country is waiting for the first budget by the new government and there are widespread anticipation on the budget. The rail budget 2014-15 is to be presented on 8 June and the Union budget will be presented on 10 June.

In the new rail budget, the railways is going to focus on the safety of passengers and is likely to install X-Ray systems along the tracks to detect the flaws in the train. Besides this, Railways will expedite installation of CCTV, X-ray machines for baggage clearances and other gadgets which are part of the Integrated Security System at all sensitive stations, as reported by Economic Times.

In the general budget, to be presented by the Finance minister Arun Jaitley, BJP will have to balance the steps aimed at meeting the expectations of the people who voted them and some of the expected tough decisions to boost the economy of the country and to bring it back on track.

It is expected that, the Finance Minister will hike the tax exemption limit, which would provide much needed relief to the salary earners who are reeling under the impact of high inflation.
