Burhan Wani's father meets Sri Sri Ravi Shankar
The father of slain Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani met Art of Living director Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in his ashram at Bengaluru.

Mohammad Muzaffar Wani said that he was in the city for treatment and Sri Sri had asked for a picture with him.

On Saturday evening, Sri Sri posted on Twitter a photo standing with Wani in his ashram saying, "Muzaffar Wani, the father of Burhan Wani, was in the ashram for the last 2 days. We discussed several issues."

Wani has claimed that he is a diabetic and had gone to the ashram for treatment. While Sri Sri claimed that they discussed several issues, Wani's father claimed that he met Sri Sri for a few minutes only and he asked him about his children.

According to HT, Wani has been a part of Sri Sri's Art of Living through inter faith contact group since last many years.

The picture has a created a buzz on Twitter and was even by retweeted by the official handle of Art of Living Foundation.

Burhan Wani was killed by security forces in an encounter on July 8 in Kashmir's Anantnag. The killing has resulted in widespread protests in the Valley leading to more than 65 deaths since then. Burhan had joined the Hizbul Mujahideen in 2010, when he was just 15 years of age. He was considered as the 'poster boy' of the Hizbul Mujahideen
