Business gets an extra space to breathe with Single Window Clearance
Say goodbye to Bill of Entry that has been replaced by Integrated Declaration. The CBEC Circular 10/2016-Cus dated 15-03-2016 with effect from 1st April, 2016 will re-define the facet of the logistic business.

The implementation of the Single Window Clearance has acted as a new catalyst in the various logistic processes. Mr Ivan Da Costa, President of Global Ocean Group says, "The implementation is structured on the modern basis that covers the high-tech digital era which will be useful in leveraging the import process, by eliminating the clearance hassles."

He further says, "The Single Window Clearance will not only speed-up the logistic business, but will also be a driving factor, for the logistic industry to contribute significantly in the country's most embraced project, Make In India."

The new process involves simplified and quick procedures, and direct interface to address customer concerns and enhance quality services for better business opportunities with ease. As per the sources from logistic industry, people are happy since the new implementation will lead to no more unnecessary waiting for customers at the port and nor will be the delay of financial transactions and other required permissions to do business or for clearance will be kept hanging.
