Caesar, last surviving dog of 26/11 bomb detection squad, dies of heart-attack
Caesar, the last surviving dog of the 26/11 Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad of the Mumbai Police, took his last breathe on Thursday, around 9.30 AM at Fizzah Farm in Virar near Mumbai.

Caesar, a Labrador, was sick since a long time. He was buried with full state honour with his body covered in tricolour.

Caesar was depressed after the death of his colleagues Tiger, Max and Sultan, who died in last few months.

"The brave, alert & efficient Caeser will be remembered fondly for his services. An emotional moment for all of us @MumbaiPolice #RIPCaeser (sic)," tweets CP Mumbai Police.

"Services of retired member of dog squad, during 26/11 wil b unforgettable. We will miss our hero immensely #RIPCaeser (sic)," wrote the Mumbai Police in another tweet.

Caesar saved many lives as he sniffed out 2 hand grenades left by the terrorists at the crowded CST railway station during the Mumbai terror attacks in November 2008. He was also a part of many search teams.
