IN THE court hearing held on June 14, 2010, LA Superior court judge rejected a request from California’s medical board to suspend Dr. Conrad Murray’s license to medical practice. Dr. Conrad was the physician treating Michael Jackson on the day his death.
The court has allowed the doctor to keep the license and practice in the state of California. The state authorities have sought the suspension since Dr. Murray was charged with involuntary manslaughter in February. He is alleged of giving the King of Pop MJ a lethal dose of the anesthetic propofol last year in June.Judge Michael Pastor rejected the request of suspending Murray’s license and set 23rd August, 2010 the date for the start of the preliminary hearing for the Murray’s case.

Last year Jackson died while he was all set to start his 'This Is It' tour in England. He was 50 years old. According to the reports, acute propofol poisoning was stated as the reason of his death. Dr. Murray had accepted that he injected the drug to the singer hours before he died.
