Canada bomb blast: Homemade bomb explodes in Indian restaurant at Mississauga leaving 15 injured
My Facebook friend Nityanand Misra marked himself safe during the explosion in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada as his crisis response communication on social media.

It is said that 15 people have been injured in the blast from a crude improvised explosive device that took place on Thursday inside Bombay Bhel restaurant in Mississauga near Toronto. The CCTV footage has shown two suspects wearing masks allegedly responsible for the blast.

The Canadian Police has launched a search for two suspects who entered restaurant late on Thursday evening who had dropped a homemade explosive device before fleeing the scene of the blast. Investigations on the incident have begun to ascertain the cause and motive of the crime.

Reportedly, three people have been critically injured and it is suspected to be a hate crime rather than a terror attack.

It seems that the hate crimes in West are on the increase in which a perpetrator of the crime targets a victim because of his or her belongingness to a particular social group, race, gender identity, ethnicity, disability, language, nationality, physical appearance, religion, or sexual orientation.

Of late, in many foreign countries many people of Indian origin have been the target of hate crimes.
