'Canada Diverse' film screenings ended with a heart touching movie 'Monsieur Lazhar,' in New Delhi - ending the 15-day film festival.
THE 15-day long film screenings initiative 'Canada Diverse' finally came to an end yesterday. An initiative by The High Commision of Canada and India
International Centre, it showcased seven critically aclaimed movies of rich ethnic diversity.
The last day of the screening witnessed a huge turn out as the nominee for best foreign-language film at Academic Awards and winner of six Genie Award "Monsieur Lazhar" was shown. A perfect cocktail of love, humor and irony, helped win the audience's appreciation.
Bharti, who attended each movie screening found it as the best movie. "It's a beautiful movie, which made commentry on education system with a lot of inocence. Other movies were also good," she added.
The organisers were really happy with the success of Canada Diverse, and wish to come up with a few more movie screenings soon.
