Canadian International School holds a successful Annual Kindergarten Sports Day
The Canadian International School (CIS) Bangalore organized its Annual Kindergarten Sports Day with great fan-fare and gusto in the school premises at Yelahanka, Bangalore on 24 January. It turned out to be a huge success with parents turning out in large numbers to motivate their children. The gathering was welcomed by the Principal Mr. Villiers. The day was full of fun, cheers, exciting games, and great exhibition of sportsmanship qualities by young students.
Children participated in various events including Bean Bag Balance, Bounce the Ball, Splash It, Shoot Out, On the Mat, Obstacle Race etc. Parents and students also participated in a Three-Legged Race. “They ran, jumped, hopped, bounced, splashed, threw, balanced and crawled for Kindergarten Sports Day! All the students demonstrated amazing agility, coordination and keenness in their participation” said Ms Rachel George (KG Teacher).

''A large number of parents came to watch the annual CIS Kindergarten Sports Day, which turned out to be a glorious day of sport and fun,'' said Ms Lily Hariharan, (K.G Teacher). Students, teachers and parents had great fun organizing and participating in the Annual CIS Kindergarten Sports Day. Weeks before the Sports Day, children practiced for various events. It truly showed how at CIS, learning and fun go hand-in-hand, said Ms Anijamol Rajesh, (P.E Teacher).
