The famous electronics company has recently launched a new digital camera, Sanyo Xacti CG65. According to the company, the new camera is equipped with a unique pistol-grip form factor and it is also quite light and compact enough to be easily shoved into the user’s pocket. The screen of the camera can be turned according to the user’s wish and it can also be drawn out at various angles to keep the users from straining their hands unnecessarily.
The camera boasts of a 2.5-inch LCD display screen with 110,000 pixels.
The new camera offers a six-megapixel image sensor with 5x optical zoom and it also features the all-new high-precision large-scale integration engine III. The CG65 also uses the SD or SHDC cards for storing information and uses the MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 format for saving videos, as well.
For compressing the sound, the camera uses the 16-bit AAC format. The users can also shoot still pictures with the new Sanyo Xacti. The camera has a pixel-interpolation filter for converting images from six- megapixel to a recorded equivalent of 10-megapixel. It also offers a very good battery life.
