AS PER a new report Carlos Slim Helu, is the world's richest man, with a net worth of $53.5 billion. Carlos Slim Helu has been named the top billionaire on the Forbes Billionaire list. On the other hand, Bill Gates, the Microsoft tychoon is the second richest man in the world.
Meanwhile, Bill Gates, who had given up the reins of Microsoft in 2008 to focus on philanthrophic efforts, has dropped to second place in the Forbes Billionaire list. Bill Gates now runs the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, a philanthrophic organisation.
The Forbes billionaire list also has Oracle head Larry Ellison on the sixth position, Microsoft CEO Steve Balmer, Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen, Dell founder Michael Dell and Apple CEO Steve Jobs, Google founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page, current Google head Eric Schmidt, Facebook owner Mark Zuckerberg and Japanese social networking website Gree founder Yoshikazu Tanaka.
