SRI BALAJI Action Medical Institute, Paschim Vihar, has resumed cashless treatment services for all its individual mediclaim customers and third party administrator card holders after reaching an agreement on the package rate structures with The General Insurers Public Sector Association (GIPSA).

Dr. D.P. Saraswat, CEO, Action Group of Hospitals, said that “We appreciate that The General Insurers Public Sector Association (GIPSA) in our consultation has evolved the packages for the procedures commonly done, which would facilitate us in extending cashless services to all beneficiaries.”

The cashless facility allows the policy holders to walk into any of the networked hospitals, comply with simple documentation and get treated without having to pay for bills subject to policy terms and conditions. However, GIPSA has now reviewed their strategies and finalized the rates with Sri Balaji Action Medical Institute. After hospitals agreed to charge policy holders at par with non-insured patients, it was decided to restore this facility.

Sri Balaji Action Medical Institute’s mission is to provide world-class affordable healthcare facilities to all sections of society with a human touch, whilst maintaining high standard of ethical practice and professional competency with emphasis on training and education leading to research. The cashless facility is in sync with this mission and will provide more people with the opportunity to avail the healthcare facilities offered by the hospital.

The multi-specialty hospital has over 35 medical specialties and 10 special clinics. It is equipped with the latest state-of-the-art equipments such as Rapid Arc Radiation Machine, 16 Slice PET.CT & Gamma Camera, 1.5 Tesla MRI and 64 Slice CT Angio among others.
