Central Bureau of Investigation told a special court in Ghaziabad today that it was the Talwars who were involved in Aarushi and Hemraj's double murder. Not only that, the couple also dressed the crime scene to divert focus, alleged the investigative body. According to the CBI, they also tried to influence the doctor, who conducted the autopsy on Aarushi.
The CBI also gave conclusive proof to support their words. They pointed out that the dentist couple throughout the night of the incident had used Internet and hence were not asleep as they claimed to be. CBI also affirmed that the crime scene was tempered with by the couple to divert police's attention.
As reported by DNA, blood stains on the staircase, lock and on the steps were partially mopped and the couple tried to influence the doctor.
14 year old Aarushi Talwar was murdered on May 16, 2008 while mother and father slept in the next room. While no logical explanation behind the murder could follow, the dead body of servant Hemraj was discovered the following day, which further made the case complex.
Many theories made it to the newspaper after the murder but the most speculated one was that Aarushi and Hemraj were caught in compromising position by Rajesh Talwar and in a fit of rage he did something that eventually caused both of them to die.
