CBI on Tuesday did not share the details of the recovery of a mobile phone belonging to Aarushi Talwar with the media. CBI sleuths said that they were keeping the details under wraps as investigation was underway in the double murder case.
The Central Bureau of Investigation on Tuesday refused to share any details regarding the recovery of a mobile phone belonging to Aarushi Talwar, the teenager, who was found murdered under mysterious circumstances along with family's domestic help, Hemraj in her Noida home.
A CBI spokesperson said that details connected with the case are being withheld from media.as the investigation in connection with the recovery is underway and also due to the directions from the Supreme Court.
Arushi's black N72 Nokia mobile phone was recovered by Crime Branch personal of Delhi police from Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh. It was revealed said that a woman, who once worked as a domestic help in Noida had passed on the phone to her relative, identified as Ram, who has been arrested and brought to Delhi for questioning.Arushi's family, meanwhile, has described the recovery as a ray of hope, her mother Nupur Talwar, said that they have been praying daily for the killer to be identified and arrested soon. Her father also expressed hope that the recovery of the mobile phone could help in connecting the various dots in the case to reach the culprit.Arushi was found murdered on May 16, 2008 at her residence in Nodia along with the family's domestic help, Hemraj, whose body was discovered a day later on the terrace of the house.Police and CBI have not been able to crack the case and bring it to conclusion.
