THEY DON'T want to make it public. They tried their best to do everything privately under a curtain. From Abhishek -Aishwarya marriage to Dhoni and Sakshi marriage, they tried to hide everything from brides face to grooms clothing. Well it was their personal choice to celebrate their D- day with their fans or to keep their personal life personal.

But the role of media seems to be very confusing. Don’t they understand or they don’t want to understand that privacy is something which is important for every other person. Or they are behind the celebrity marriage just because they are stars they have fan following. The media must understand the line of difference between private and public life of celebrities.

When these celebrities invite selected relatives and friends to their family how they could expect that they are uninvited invited. The media is a powerful pillar of democracy and the best source of PR. They need media in every step of their life. Most of the time it is not media who needs them but celebrities are those who need them. Media and large fan following made them stars and they can bring them down too.

This is what media need to understand, their breaking news can increase their TRP but not the reliability. Media actually waste their money, time and other resources in gathering that news which most of us don’t need. They roam around those stars who just use media for their publicity and keep them away when they don’t need them. In the race of capturing celebrity news media ignores some of the very important news of nation, politics and society.

The day when Dhoni or Abhishek bachchan get married, there was no other news on each and every news channel of India. No matter what they telecasted and what they telecasted – how he is getting married, with whom he is getting married, what the couple will wear, which was all rubbish. It was 24x7 news just because celebrity was getting married and they don’t want to inform about their marriage to media and public.

So why they are so important….. Why ??? In the name of celebrity most of the simple, relevant news are not getting importance. So who is responsible media or celebrity??? Whatever the scene may be but the media is one who should think about his own responsibilities regarding NEWS. People want to see NEWS, not celebrities and their private life for 24x7.

It would look good if the stars and common public will get common treatment. At least media should understand their limit while covering celebrities to maintain a balance. This will automatically help them in giving relevant and responsible NEWS.

The fourth pillar of democracy must understand its importance. Uninvited guests are never welcomed so why they behave like them while covering celebrity marriages. It not only gives a bad impression of media but also spoils its credibility.
