People familiar with the matter informed that 19 Companies of paramilitary forces will be deployed in different districts of the valley, which is witnessing unprecedented violence.
TAKING NOTE of the increasing violence in Kashmir, the Centre has decided to deploy 2,000 additional Central paramilitary troops in the trouble torned areas in the Valley.
On Tuesday, violence again took a heavy toll in Kashmir as it spread across Srinagar and Budgam districts with protesters clashing with the security personnel at various places. A nine-year old was killed in police firing, which left five people injured in Srinagar on Tuesday. Latest report has it that another 23-year old man, Mehraj-ud-din has succumbed to his injuries incurred during clashes with security forces.
