Champions League Preview: KKR Vs RCB
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have not been able to show the form for which they have been known around the world. Both teams need to play better cricket when they face each other later tonight at Bangalore.

TWO IPL teams, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are scheduled to play tonight in their Group B encounter of the Champions League T20, 2011 at Bangalore. Both the teams would be trying to register their maiden victory in the tournament. Kolkata would be more desperate as they have lost two matches in a trot.

KKR and the RCB had been thought of to be strong contenders for the title, but KKR has disappointed their fans in a big way. Both these teams have star attractions in the team, who are capable of pulling the team out of trouble and win the match on their own.

Gautam Gambir, captain of KKR has been a big disappointment as he has not been able to score runs in the tournament. Other batsmen such as Kallis, Pathan have been playing their hand, but their effort has not brought a victory to their team, which is surely a disappointment for KKR. Brett Lee has to show during the match tonight, as to why he is rated as one of the most feared bowlers in International cricket. It is time for him to perform. The KKR must play as a team in order to win the match against a side, RCB who have a very strong squad.

RCB may have some of the best international players such as Dilshan, De Villiers, Chris Gayle, and a host of other players too. They have such a good batting line up that a player of the calibre of Dilshan could not get a game in their first match. Other Indian players such as Saurabh Tiwary, Virat Kohli make up for a dangerous batting line up. Chris Gayle, RCB opener is one of the most dangerous players in the RCB batting camp, who can tear any attack apart if he stays in the crease for a longer duration. The KKR need to wrap up the batsmen very early, else the ball will be in the stands every over, irrespective of the bowler.

The match has all the making for an interesting showdown between the two IPL giants. The winner of the match would surely be confident when they walk in to play their next match, so this match holds a great deal of importance for both teams.
