Champions League T20 2013 semis: Mumbai Indians Vs Trinidad and Tobago
Mumbai Indians, the 2013 IPL champions will play against the team from the Caribbean, Trinidad and Tobago in the second semi-finals of the Champions League T20 2013 at Ferozeshah Kotla stadium in Delhi. Rajasthan Royals await the winner of the fixture, where the team led by Rahul Dravid has already booked a place.

Mumbai Indians might not have been that impressive in the competition, where they reached the knock out stages only after edging out Otago via run rate after getting tied with same points in the group stages. Trinidad and Tobago on the other hand topped their group. The squad of both the teams are well balanced to make it an interesting affair.

Trinidad and Tobago to a large extent will depend on their batting exploits of Lendl Simmons, Evin Lewis and Darren Barvo, where Bravo and Lewis have played extremely well with 149 runs and 140 runs respectively against their name so far. But, more so, it is not their batting line up, which would instill fear, but their bowlers, who could make life tough for the star studded batting line up of Mumbai Indians.

The fight is primarily between the Mumbai Indian batsmen and Trinidad and Tobago bowlers. Among all the bowlers, it is Sunil Narine with his bag of tricks who is the biggest fear. He has shown good form in the tournament already bagging 8 wickets. Rayad Amrit has also been upto the mark with 6 wickets.

These bowlers could try to dismiss Sachin Tendulkar early as he has not had a good Champions League T20 and the same can be said for Dinesh Kathik as well, but the knock out match calls for a better performance from these two Indian batsmen. Their best batsmen has been Dwayne Smith with 120 runs and Rohit  Sharma is not far behind with 115 runs while Pollard has chipped in with his own little contributions here and there.

In fact, Mumbai look an all round side with good bowlers as well. Mitchell Johnson, Rishi Dhawan and Nathan Coulter-Nile have been good with the ball. So, if it is Mumbai Indians night tonight, no team would be able to stop the team led by Rohit Sharma.
