Chandigarh to host conference on "Advances in Mathematics and Engineering Sciences"
International Conference on Advances in Mathematics and Engineering Sciences (ICAMES) for 2017 is going to be held on 27th April in Chandigarh to promote multidisciplinary research in collaboration with different universities and educational institutions and share research work to learn from one another.
Claimed to be one of the largest conferences in the field of mathematics and engineering sciences, the Conference is designed with special invited research lectures, paper-presentations and poster presentations, inform the organisers.

The organisers intimated that the ICAMES would publish a referred Engineering Sciences International Research Journal issue with ISSN 2320 - 4338 incorporating selected papers.

Various areas for are related to mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Modeling, computer Science, engineering, technology, etc. have been included in the conference.

It is heartening to know the organisers have included educational mathematics also as an area of the research though there could be few takers. I have thought of sending an abstract on educational mathematics for teachers engaged in action research to improve their practice.

Applied educational mathematics is related to quantified analysis of the development and practice of educational programs, courses, practices and resources including modeling, computational and applied domains related to education.

This applied area of mathematics can be useful for careers in academia with a strong education and teaching components through action research aided by quantitative analysis, I feel.
