After coming out of the CBI office Mr. Jagan has demanded that the entire OMC episode has been done during Chandrababu 's regime and he should be investigated and he also pointed out the yellow journalism of some Telugu papers and an electronic media outlet.
CHANDRABABU NAIDU, opposition leader of Andhra Pradesh, should be interrogated in the Obulapuram Minining Company (OMC) case, was the demand of Jaganmohan Reddy, the president of YSR Congress party after completing his witness statement in the OMC case by CBI on Friday.
After coming out of the CBI office Jaganmohan Reddy has clarified that he was investigated by the CBI authorities as one of the witnesses only. Is this not enough that he had nothing to do with the OMC case which CBI has been enquiring for the last one and half years, asked the media? He said that the yellow journalism media in Andhra Pradesh has been writing irresponsible stories, and he was sorry for it.
He was questioned by the CBI for a couple of hours and he told the CBI that in the year 2002 only 64.2 acres of land had been transferred to OMC and in support of it he has shown the order copy of government. He said that he also handed it over to the CBI. Jagan has also said that in 1996, the then Chief Minister Chandrababu's government had leased it to someone by the name of Mr. Rammohana Reddy and the same had been transferred to Gali Janardhan’s company OMC. He has requested the CBI that Chandrababu should be enquired as the whole episode was done during the period of his government only.
