K Chandrasekhar Rao, TRS supremo and MP from Mahaboobnagar, has not visited Mahaboobnagar even once since his election to Parliament. The people of his constituency took out a rally with portraits of their MP.
THE ATTITUDE of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi supremo and MP from Mahaboobnagar, K Chandrasekhar Rao, has angered people who pointed out that he had not bothered to make even a single visit to his constituency. It is being suggested that this indifference to the needs of the people was responsible for his party's debacle in the recent elections. The party won only two parliamentary seats in the recent elections - these were won by K Chandrasekhar Rao and film star Vijayashanthi, who won from Medak.
After his election to parliament, K Chandrasekhar had not visited the Mahaboobnagar constituency even once. A former MP from the party, Ravindra Nayak, party youth wing leader Jitta Balakrishna Reddy, MLC Rehaman and some other leaders, deliberately expressed their dissatisfaction with KCR and asked that he resign as party president. All these suggestions that he had gone underground after the elections, irritated the supremo. He pointed out that he had not visited his constituency because he was embarrassed with his party's poor performance.
Meanwhile, in the hunt for their MP, the people of Mahaboobnagar took out a rally in the town with portraits of their MP. They went in search for him in Delhi as well and they said that they would meet the speaker of the Lok Sabha for help. A complaint was also lodged at a local police station in his constituency. In that complaint, the petitioner asked the police to search the local MP and hand him over to the people.
